In the heart of Le Rœulx, at 28 Rue Grande, La Grim’Rhodienne welcomes you into a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Behind this charming establishment is a passionate mother-and-son duo: Virginie Bernié and Antoine Decamps, united by their love for hospitality, good taste, and life’s simple pleasures.

Virginie spent over fifteen years in education before deciding to follow her passion by studying hospitality at the Provincial Institute “Charles Deliège” in Binche. Curious and determined, she honed her skills through inspiring internships, notably at Au Gré du Vent in Seneffe and with the caterer Vray in Marcinelle. She then took part in running a restaurant within the Théâtre Le Manège in Mons—an enriching experience that confirmed her true calling.

Antoine, on the other hand, will make every effort to ensure your visit is a warm and enjoyable one. With hands-on experience in both the dining room and behind the bar, he learned the trade on the ground, including at La Gaffe in Saint-Florent, Corsica, and more recently at Tanka in Anderlues. His welcoming nature and cheerful attitude make him a dedicated and attentive host.

Together, Virginie and Antoine invite you to discover an honest, heartfelt cuisine that follows the seasons and highlights local products. Everything here is designed to showcase local producers—on the plate and in the glass.
